AYROC dark orienteering activity at Belleisle Park, Ayr at 5 pm on Saturday, 9th December 2023. There'll be one course.
Entries close at 10.30 pm on Thursday, 7th December.
This will be another dark activity, starting at 5.00pm in Belleisle Park, Ayr. Headtorches and warm clothing, including gloves are recommended. The club has a number of head torches which can be borrowed.
Belleisle park is a small wooded area which is around the now derelict Belleisle House with many paths and butting onto the Golf Course, which will obviously not be in use in the dark.
Parking will be in the Golf Course Car Park, which can be found from the A77 Alloway Turn off, by following Doonvale Road going straight at the small roundabout, Murdoch's Loan, pass the Burns Birthplace Museum and turn right at the T junction. At the next mini roundabout turn left down Greenfield Avenue, golf course on the right. At the T junction turn right and after approximately 500 metres turn right into Belleisle Park and Golf Course.
